رضا شیری خواننده سبک پایا ایرانی و زاده 22 تیر سال 1362 در شهر تهران است. او فوق دیپلم معمای دارد. او به دلیل فعالیت غیرمجاز ممنوع الکار بود. او اصالتا ترک اردبیل می باشد پدر او مرتضی شیری نام دارد که یکی از قهرمانان بوکس ایران است و مدال طلای اسیا را دارد و بعد از انقلاب 57 اولین شخصی بود که توانست مجوز حضور در المپیک را بدست آورد.
او از دوران کودکی صدای خوبی داشت و در خانه می خواند و در هیئت های مذهبی نوحه خوانی می کرد شب ها صدای قرآن قاریان معروف را گوش می داد و به خواب می رفت و در سن 15 سالگی نفر اول قرائت قرآن در کشور شد
